Which Option is for Me?

Not sure which of Park Central’s services are right for you? Here’s a quick explanation of each.

Retirement Living

A majority of our residents are independent, and simply looking for a place to retire in comfort, security, and convenience. They enjoy a high quality of life in any of four distinct retirement centers on our campus. These include Park Place Towers and The Continental (for senior adults age 62 and older), as well as The Talmage and Plemons Court (for qualifying seniors age 55 and older).

Assisted Living

All seniors wish to live as independently as possible, yet require assistance with some activities of daily living—such as bathing, dressing, or medication supervision. We offer two assisted living centers to meet this need. Our Harrington Assisted Living and Moore Assisted Living centers offer residents their own spacious apartments while providing daily support services.

Long-Term Care

Due to injury, illness, or advanced age, some adults are no longer able to live independently or care for themselves. For them, long-term care at Ware Living Center is an ideal option. Here they can receive 24-hour licensed nursing care in a compassionate, life-affirming environment.

Alzheimer’s Care

The Village at Ware Living Center is our certified Alzheimer’s center. It is designed exclusively to provide loving emotional, physical, and mental care for residents who have Alzheimer’s disease and/or significant dementia. These are unique residents and they deserve a unique, enriching atmosphere. Our innovative Namasté Care program “honors the spirit within” by providing holistic, gentle end-of-life care to residents with advanced dementia.

Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation

After surgery or a hospital stay, adults of all ages may require daily skilled services—including nursing care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy—on an inpatient basis. Located off-campus near Amarillo’s Medical Center, The Arbors is a Medicare-certified skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.
